Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining

We're trying to bring back some retro words and expressions.
Feel free to join us in our mission.

The meaning of the expression (or idiom) every cloud has a silver lining is that something good or positive will come out of any situation even a bad one.  It is a statement of eternal optimism.  This saying has been around since 1634 which is the year John Milton invented the expression in a round about way in one of his popular poems - Comus.

Tried and tested as reaffirming and encouraging words of wisdom.
